Kentucky Derby Pecan Pie
What a delicious pie this Kentucky Derby Pecan Pie is! It is quick to make, can freeze in the freezer until you need it, or it can be enjoyed after baking once it cools!
Recipe:
Mix together…
1 stick of melted butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup all-purpose flour (plain)
2 eggs beaten
1 t. vanilla flavoring
(Before adding the pecans and choc. chips, coat them in a couple teaspoons of flour. It is supposed to keep them from drifting to the bottom of pie.)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes in a deep dish pie crust or until brown. I did 40 minutes. Cool before cutting. ENJOY!
