How to Place Trailing Stops on Webull

Today we’ll learn how to place a trailing stop within the webull desktop platform. Unfortunately, at the time of this video you’ll only have the ability to attach a trailing stop on stock you already hold in the account. That’s unlike a standard stop, or stop limit, which can be attached to a brand new trade.

A trailing stop order is a conditional order that uses a trailing amount, rather than a specifically stated stop price, to determine when to submit a market order.
This means you can set an offset amount rather than a specific stop activation price. This amount can either be a dollar amount or percentage amount.
