How to make a light weight dashboard for a race car.

Today I run through the steps to build a lightweight Fibreglass Dashboard for my 2007 Ford Focus racing car. Using a 2 piece split mould a friend loaned me and local fiberglass, gel coat and resin found in a boat yard.
I cannot ship PVA mould release so I show how I get stress free quick mould releases using just bee's wax.

This is part of a series documenting my 2007 Mk2 Ford Focus race car build. Being built as a replica to the WTCC and BTCC touring cars of this era, it features a M Sport tagged Ford racing shell. 2.0 Duratec engine fitted with Jenvey 40mm Throttle bodies, High compression pistons, AP racing brakes, AP racing pedals.
