Pilots require the use of math, science, and geography to get from one destination to another. Global Positioning Satellites (GPS) now make navigation much easier and safer for civil, commercial, and military pilots. NASA researchers will show students how math, science, and geography combine to make navigating safer and easier. The lesson and classroom experiment will involve students in observation and in measuring, and interpreting data to determine exact locations.
