Make your own texture brush in Procreate ✍🏽
Making your own texture brush is super easy and it can save you so much time when using Procreate!
Here are the steps:
✦ Create a square canvas.
✦ Bring up your texture.
✦ Make it black and white.
✦ Duplicate your image and slide it halfway to the left (with the Snapping activated).
✦ Erase the sharp edge.
✦ Merge your 2 layers together.
✦ Repeat this step but slide your image to the top.
✦ With 3 fingers, swipe down and click Copy All.
✦ Click the + button to create your new brush.
✦ Paste your texture under the Grain section.
✦ Set the Grain behaviour to Texturised.
✦ Adjust the Scale to your preference.
✦ Change the Shape Source to a soft round shape (imported from the Source Library).
✦ Adjust the size of your brush.
✦ Rename your brush and you’re done!
