Create a font for my new toolkit!
Here’s how I turned the lettering from my book covers into fonts for my latest Procreate toolkit! 📚✍🏽
First, I create all of my letterforms in Procreate from the first few letters I already have. It’s almost like a puzzle where you reuse bits and pieces of your letters to create other letters.
Then I bring my letters to vectorise in Illustrator, and no, there’s no shortcut here you have to do it all by hand if you want to achieve the best result!
Once all of my letterforms are vectorised, I move on to Glyphs where I copy and paste all of my vector letterforms and fix the kerning.
