YouTube is making huge changes in the upcoming year of 2020 and we all have to take action NOW in order to comply to the new laws and to get through this transition as good as possible.

WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN TO MY CHANNEL?:
Hopefully, nothing will change. My biggest hope is that Coppa / FTC won’t target the Simmer community, considering our intentions aren’t commercial and our videos aren’t directly meant for kids. Kids do make up a big part of our audience though, so the change will definitely cause difficulties.
I am not planning to quit because of this transition, though. I will do my best to comply to COPPA as good as I can.
If videos on my channel get ‘’Marked for kids’’ by YouTube, many features will be taken down, such as comments, notifications, endscreens, etc.
You might start noticing these changes starting in 2020.
