This drug is used as a hormonal contraceptive.
Contraindications
Do not use if the patient has hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the components of the drug.
In addition, this drug is contraindicated in the following cases:
breast cancer;
estrogen-dependent cancers;
vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology;
incurable endometrial hyperplasia;
venous thromboembolism;
arterial thromboembolic disorders (e.g., angina, myocardial infarction);
thrombophilia (e.g., protein C, S, or antithrombin deficiency);
high risk of venous or arterial thrombosis;
liver tumors of any etiology; - liver disease, until laboratory parameters of liver function are normalized, cholecystitis, colitis;
porphyria;
severe hypertriglyceridemia.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Not for use in pregnant women.
If it is necessary to take this drug, lactation (breastfeeding) should be discontinued during treatment.
