this video is unassisted, meaning it isnt a TAS and no codes were used, try this out yourself, pretty easy...
the glitch used in this run was during the fight after i got the "item" for oak. using the select button, i switched the item and bulbasaur around, glitching the game. this made a series of bizzare warps and game freezes possible. in order to warp directly to the hall of hame, i followed a route in a tas i watched....this glitch only works in this verson btw
improvements-a lot of things related to luck are the major improvements, like having charmander kill me in 3 turns, have all my attacks miss, and have no encounters. besides those, there are only a few spots where a few seconds are waisted.
