The lower Rio Grande Valley is host to a very unique ecosystem unlike any other in the United States. This subtropical environment is host to a wide variety of plant and animal species, including the more elusive animals in the area, the big cats.

In this video, museum archivist Kelly Francis-Love will provide some interesting facts and stories about the documents, artifacts and photographs relating to these felines.
