Hatta sign is a guiness world record sign and the tallest sign in the world located in the outskirts of Dubai Hatta adjacenct to Oman
Much like its Hollywood equivalent, the Hatta Sign rises high above the landscape, the large steel letters welcoming visitors before the town even comes into view.
On the contrary to its Californian counterpart, the Hatta Sign exchanges the Hollywood Hills for the Hajar Mountains, the bustling streets of Beverly Hills with a small Emirati town. Hatta itself is paradise for nature lovers in Dubai – the landscape home to date farms and hiking trails and stunning turquoise springs.

You might be confused as to how Hatta is located in Dubai, and also 90 minutes from Downtown Dubai. That’s because Dubai as you probably picture it – with steel skyscrapers and mega highways – is simply the largest city in the Emirate of Dubai. The emirate itself is over 4,000 square kilometers, and home to a number of towns.
Hatta is one of these towns, located in the southwest corner of the emirate near the Oman border. In fact, from the Hatta Sign, you’ll be able to peer out over the Hajar and wave to Oman!
The best time for hiking in the UAE is in the winter months, from mid-October to mid-April. During this period, temperatures are milder, generally in the low 20s Celcius (70s Fahrenheit). The Hatta Sign Hike has little to no shade until the top, which means that it’s especially risky during summer months.
