FIRE 🚨 | Kiosk set on fire in the early hours of the morning in Cachoeira de Emas, Pirassununga
A kiosk located in Cachoeira de Emas, Pirassununga, was hit by a fire in the early hours of Wednesday (11). The incident mobilized teams from the Municipal Civil Guard, Military Police, Fire Department and Civil Defense.
According to information from the Municipal Civil Guard, the call was registered around 4:05 am after reports that a kiosk on Avenida Rosa Senhorini was on fire. The initial suspicion is that the fire was started criminally.
When the teams arrived at the scene, the Fire Department had already controlled the flames. The vehicles commanded by 1st Sergeant Claiton, 2nd Sergeant De Marchi and Corporal Costa participated in the response, fighting the fire and preventing the flames from spreading.
Military police officers who also responded to the incident reported that there was no one in the vicinity when the teams arrived. The fire was reported to the emergency number 193.
According to the owner of a neighboring kiosk, his father had passed by the location during the night to perform maintenance and had seen some people near the burning kiosk. The report also states that the previous day there had been an incident involving a group of gypsies in the area.
The affected kiosk was empty and under the responsibility of the Municipal Government.
The Civil Police were called and a forensics team arrived at the scene. The responsible expert prepared a forensic report to determine the causes of the fire.
The case will be investigated to clarify whether the fire was indeed arson and to identify possible culprits. 🚒🔥
