“Hello, everyone! I’m the apologetics artist Elle ISO Elohim, here today to celebrate surpassing 1k by drawing myself and discussing spiritual superpowers!
Unlike the typical format of the Apologetics Empire Superheroes Series, I’ll hold off until closer to the end of the video to share more about the character I chose and explain how she represents me. Instead, to start this study off, I first have a question for each of you : Have you ever struggled to identify what God’s calling you to pursue?”

“While I can’t say for certain how God will continue to manifest His power in our own personal lives, I have some very helpful suggestions for finding out. To start, I’d highly recommend looking at your life and observing your inclinations and abilities. Oftentimes, God uses His Spirit to amplify the physical gifts we’ve already been given in addition to giving us new ones. If you’re already amazing at something, try to identify how you can use it for God’s glory. Do not be discouraged if it’s not commonly on a list of spiritual gifts or your usage is unusual. The Bible so clearly shows we are gifted uniquely.
That said, most of our individual gifts tend to gravitate towards or fall within over aching categories such as Administration, Apostleship, Craftsmanship, Discernment, Evangelism, Exhortation, Faith, Giving, Healing, Helps, Hospitality, Intercession, Word of Knowledge, Leadership, Mercy, Miracles, Pastor/Shepherd, Prophecy, Service, Teaching, Tongues (and Interpretation), and Word of Wisdom. To see the scriptural references and descriptions of each of these gifts, and to take a test to see your specialties, make sure to check out giftstest.com! The specific links will be provided in the descriptions for your convenience.

“‘Shelter Nr.7 Girl’ is the character I chose to spoof as myself, but unlike the rest of the best of the best superheroes I’ve spoofed in the past for people like David Wood, Vocab Malone, and Jon McCray, this character isn’t even classified as a hero let alone given a high hero class. In fact, Shelter Nr.7 Girl is referred to as such because she was never given a real name. She’s seen as such an insignificant background character in the manga, and has yet to ever make it on-screen in the anime series.
So, out of all of the awesome characters I could have chosen to represent, why choose someone like her?
Well, quite frankly, I also pretty much look like a no-name to most. When it comes to my significance in the grand scheme of things, I don’t have nearly the audience or reach that many other Christian apologists have. I hadn’t even reached 1,000 subscribers until this week, and it’s very unlikely I would have ever gotten the pleasure of interacting with most of you if it weren’t for people with much larger audiences like David, Vocab, and Jon helping promote this channel so much. Still, with what may seem like a very small amount of traction and impact to most, I want to use what I do have to help as many people as I can the best that I can. My hope and prayer is that even though most may never remember my name, I’ll still be able to share many messages that impact people eternally for the glory of God. And, to use the old phrase, I may not be able to change the whole world, but if I can change someone’s whole world, I’ll have accomplished something far greater than I’ll ever be able to realize.”

“I hope that hearing this, I can encourage each of you to use your powers, even if you don’t feel like they’re all that super. We shouldn’t underestimate what God can do through us, so please don’t be discouraged or look down on yourself and your gifts because of how you think you’ll compare to someone else. God doesn’t love us because we’re great, He loves us because He is great.”
