First i will show you where to download capcut. I don't expect you to have a video clip ready for editing, therefore I will show you how to download video clips from pexels.com. This website lets you search for a video clip, and they are free to use and doesn't have any copyright restrictions, which means that you can redistribute them on other platforms.
I will cover all the main editing features available. The first thing you need to familiarize yourself with is importing and organizing media files. I will then show you how to split, cut, trim and delete a clip. You can easily follow along with any video clip of your own.
We will then move on to adding text. Addding text is fairly simple and you can choose from many different fonts and animations. Animations are good at grabbing the viewers attention and makes your videos stand out. But make sure that you don't overuse them.
We will also cover effects and transitions.There are tons of effects you can use. Take some time to explore them all until you find the one that works best for you. Transitions are used for creating a smooth switch between 2 clips and also to prepare the viewer for a change in scene. You can for example use a transition when there is a change in topic, such as a new chapter.
You can use stickers for many things. For example, you can use an arrow sticker to point at something that you want to bring attention to. You can also use emoji icons to express emotions. An example where you can use stickers is crossing off a checklist by animating the cross sticker.
Lastly I will show you how to save your edited video as an MP4, which is the usual format for video files. The only difference here is that "saving" the file is called "exporting" the file.
