After the carnage of World War 1, Europe was in chaos. The German, Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman, and Russian Empires were dead. France had been bled white and would suffer the consequences when it was occupied by Germany in 1940. The old order had been erased with its kings and queens. And yet, we forget the multitude of conflicts shortly after World War 1 and before World War 2, in the interwar period, that shaped history like the Greco-Turkish War. What if the Greeks, and not the Turks had won this pivotal war? Would we see a balkanized Turkey? Let's find out!
