How To Connect An External Pre Amp To An Audio Interface
Hayden Jamal talks about a simple way to connect an external preamp to an audio interface. In this example, you need an XLR to XLR jack for the microphone. You will also need an XLR to TRS (both male). Once you have done that, the rest is as simple as you were doing it before. USB into the computer, AC adapters into the wall. In this example, the preamp used was the Presonus Studio 192 and the Golden Age Project Pre73 JR.
