UKFT MADE IT student gains production experience at Bristol Weaving Mill
Hannah Bentley, a second year student on the BA (Hons) Textile Design Course at the Winchester School of Art, completed a production internship at Bristol Weaving Mill as part of UKFT's MADE IT scheme. In this short film, we hear from Juliet Bailey, a co-director at Dash & Miller and the Bristol Weaving Mill, why good quality work experience is a great to start to entering the industry and from Hannah about what she enjoyed about her placement.
UKFT’s MADE IT scheme offers selected fashion and textile design students the opportunity of a two-month paid internships in UK production environments to provide real-life manufacturing and sourcing experience in the UK fashion and textile industry.
