Distorted Square Knot
Tie half of a square knot
Make a little loop across the center cords
Bring other cord across center cords, behind center cords then through the loop
Tighten cords into place
Tie the second half of a square knot
Repeat from the other direction
Repeating Diagonal
Make a little loop across the center cords
Bring other cord across center cords, behind center cords then through the loop
Tighten cords into place
Repeat always starting from the same side
X Over Square Knot
Tie a square knot
Before tightening into place, feed in accent cord
Finish square knot
Criss cross accent cord over knot, making an X
Feed accent cords under knot
Tie another square knot
Bring accent cords back in
Repeat X pattern
Color Weave Border
Loosen previous knot and feed in accent cord
Tie one square knot
Feed your accent cords through to the other side of the knot
Tie another square knot
Wrap accent cords under knot
Repeat pattern
Chunky Square Knot
Using 2 or more tying cords on one side, tie a square knot pattern
