Lymphocytes are the primary cells of the immune system and are found within the lymphatic and cardiovascular systems, as well as within the interstitial spaces of the body. When a lymphocyte encounters a pathogen it will initiate an immune response. This brain builder focuses on the 3 types of lymphocytes: T cells, B cells, and NK cells.
