Jay Foad talks through a few of his solutions to the 2018 Advent of Code (AoC) using Dyalog version 17.0.
He gives general advice for tackling AoC problems, and also shows off his problem solving workspace which contains dfns and several other utilities. He shows how to transform interactive solutions into what Roger Hui calls "monument quality code". A couple of the puzzles demonstrate use of ⌸ (key), ∘.f (outer product) and the regular expression (regex) search function ⎕S.
