The Micro:bit Educational Foundation is a global non-profit transforming how we teach digital skills and computer science. The BBC micro:bit combines hardware and software to help students build 21st century skills and confidence though digital creativity.
The micro:bit helps students develop computational thinking skills. With it they can learn how to code and learn to think creatively in their application of digital technologies to problem-solving challenges and product design.
We believe that access to computing education is a matter of social equity and it is the Foundation’s mission is to inspire every child to create their best digital future.
