Using Blender 2.8 Beta, I tried to create the fairytale creature called Krampus (it's the holiday season after all).
Total time for the project was a bit under 7 hours during the weekend. With many embarrassing blunders. I kept losing my eye textures in mid-sessions for example. I narrowed the speed so that the elapsed time is 3% of the original. In the end there's an only slightly sped-up portion where I examine my work.
No real UV:ing or retopoing was done here. The thumbnail image is rendered in Eevee and edited a bit in Photoshop.
