Autodesk Factory Design Utilities is an interoperable factory planning solution for manufacturers. It helps you design and share efficient 2D and 3D layouts by creating an artificial replica for future factory layout arrangements.
While FDU includes a library of assets to help you get started, there are times when you might need to use your asset. Possibly adding a 3D model created using Inventor. This can be achieved easily whether it is machine equipment or a different set of conveyors.
This model created by the Inventor can be used later on with the AutoCAD version of the factory design. Not only that, the asset can also be embedded with automation that allows change of parameter.
