В апреле 2018 года была установлена антенна с 10 метровым кабелем на середину мачты. Длинны хватило лишь до туда. За годы, кабель вытянулся и центральная жила оборвалась, сигнал перестал поступать.
Команда flightradar24 прислала мне новый кабель длиной 15 метров и новую антенну, я смог разместить её на самом краю мачты, демонтировав старую неиспользуемую, и закрепил кабель на несущем стальном тросе, сняв с него нагрузку.
Дальность приёма увеличилась в два раза, диаграмма направленности стала круглой с пиками к двум аэропортам, между которыми находится антенна.
In April 2018, an antenna with a 10-meter cable was installed in the middle of the mast, the length was only enough to go there. Over the years, the cable stretched out and the central core broke off, the signal stopped coming.
The flightradar24 team sent me a new cable 15 meters long and a new antenna, I was able to place it at the very edge of the mast, dismantling the old unused one, and fixed the cable to the supporting steel cable, removing the load from it.
The reception range has doubled, the radiation pattern has become round with peaks towards the two airports, between which the antenna is located.
