Bear 65 v2 | Kailh midnight on FR4 plate
The Bear65 is a fantastic keyboard kit from Jacky Labs. I'm so happy that I was able to snag one from the v2 group buy. If there's another round, I definitely want to try to go for a polycarbonate WKL for myself.
This one is a gift for my s/o, who wanted something quieter that she could use for computer work. I used Kailh midnight pros, which are medium/light silent tactiles. The silenced stems don't feel mushy at all, and have a firm bottom-out. They're definitely not as loud as non-silenced switches, but also not so soft that they're difficult to hear in a quiet room. It's a very pleasant volume, and they're a nice lighter alternative to Boba U4s or Durock Shrimp tactiles.
