Lebanon In Crisis | Emergency Relief With Helping Hand USA
Lebanon is under severe distress due to ongoing hostilities. As of July 31st, 2024, intense offensives have penetrated up to 62 miles from the southern border. The destruction of water, electricity, and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as roads in southern Lebanon, is extensive.
As the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon escalated, HHRD, through its Jordan office and vetted local partner NGOs, began providing immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation. The need is dire as the conditions are expected to worsen.
