David Neacșu. The magic of living and discovering the power within us | THE VAST&THE CURIOUS live
David Neacșu is a mountaineer and explorer. And this is a conversation about risk, personal power, adventure, overcoming limits, self-knowledge and extraordinary teams.
David organized the first Romanian expedition to Everest and dozens of other expeditions on 50 of the great mountains of this world, from Kilimanjaro to McKinley and from Ruwenzori to Klucevskaia. He explored lesser-known areas and followed the lives of indigenous populations from Peru to Papua New Guinea or Alaska.
He roams the mountains out of the need to know and understand the world. He says that the passion for adventure comes from the desire to live every moment of this life. He is the founder of Himalaya, the first mountain equipment store in Romania. And a passionate fisherman. He is also the author of the book “The Book of Heights”, a fascinating story about over three decades of exploring the world.
