The Best Views & the Worst Shinner - Mountain Biking Monarch Crest outside of Salida Colorado
I drove with the family to Colorado for an 11 day trip, and this is the first video of that vacation. First, we stopped at the Great Sand Dunes near Alamosa. We also stumbled upon this beautiful hike and waterfall called Zapata Falls. We drove two and a half hours to Salida for the night. Early in the morning, I woke up and met a bunch of YouTubers in Poncha Springs to get the shuttle up to the Monarch Pass. The Monarch Crest was just as amazing and just as difficult as I remembered it from 2014. The climbs were rough and the descents were rowdy! This video covers the first half of the ride, and ends in one of the worst pedal to shin injuries I've had.
