Build A National Beehive From Scratch - Part 2 - Brood Box
The second video in my series where I look at making a National beehive from scratch.
As you can see from this video the British National hive doesn't really lend itself to being made from scratch, as there is a lot of joints and "fiddly" bits to contend with. I've used a lot of tools to make this, it's not one I think can be knocked up with a few hand tools very easily (although obviously you can do that). I earn my living from making things out of wood ,so when I'm messing around making stuff like this, I'm not earning any money or paying any bills.
