Erlang is used on several huge platforms for more than 20 years, from big Ericsson swithes to the WhatsApp platform. Through immutability, functional programming and lightweight processes, Erlang helps to write distributed, scalable and reliable systems in an (almost) easy way. We will give the intuition on how to build systems that support concurrency and fault tolerance. We are going to discover how to think different.
