Welcome to the Christian Orthodox Basic Seminary School coming to you from the Philippine Islands. You can find us on our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel where we post video classes translated from Russian into English from the School of Missions of the Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow. Our Page and Channel is intended for everyone who wants to study a ‘basic’ overview of Orthodoxy more deeply from different perspectives: from Holy Scripture, Church history, theology, worship, asceticism, etc.

Together with each class video we will post the text of the lesson. The text can be automatically machine translated by Facebook or Google into any language. In the future, God willing, we will have teaching directly in other languages. This class project is simply a beginning with that goal in mind. It means that we are first translating from Russian language to English and then selected other languages.
This video course has the formal title: “Guide to the Sacred Study of New Testament Scriptures - beginning with Four Gospels”… in short it can be called "The New Testament Class". It is structured with a numbered statement or question (1,2,3,4..) with a corresponding description or answer. In a sense it gives a concise answer to possible exam questions given by the seminary course translated from Russian.
