Tenor saxophonist/clarinetist Chris Speed is one of the most active and distinctive voices in the pulsing New York Downtown jazz scene. He’s worked with Tim Berne, Claudia Quintet, AlasNoAxis, and Kurt Rosenwinkel, and now meets ace Vancouverites Tommy Babin (Haram, Benzene) bass, and Omar Amlani (Braveheart, Evil Three) drums in formidable improv.
