Today I will talk about our added features for credit card security.
First, I opened the HMS Hotel Program, after the reservation, channel reservation step, on the relevant reservation card, under the rooms tab, there is a screen where we can view card information without entering your extranet panel.
If you want to view guest credit card information on this screen, you must first enter the password information.
To increase security measures, we have now made the 2-factor authentication system mandatory. You now need to create a second password via the google authenticator application to view credit card information.
When we click on the two-factor authenticator option to create a password from this screen, it directs us to the google authenticator page.
On the page that appears, it gives us information about how to install the application. I will briefly tell you about it.
After downloading the google authenticator application to your mobile phone, first click on the plus button, then click on "Scan QR code"
We scan the QR code on our screen with the mobile phone camera. Google application has generated a code for us, we enter this 6-digit code in to our Hms Hotel Program.
If you want to use it while logging into the HMS Hotel Program, you can select the "Use on the Login Screen?" option.
When we click on the “Launch two-factor security" button to complete the process.
You can now enter your password and authenticator code to view guest credit card information. Optionally, you can also use it when logging into the HMS Hotel Program to increase your login security.
