This video covers useful meshing tips to know when generating meshes.

We will explain the following three points through a practical exercise using a bracket part composed of two bodies.

1) Meshes are generated based on CAD geometry (points, lines, and surfaces)

Introduction to Virtual Topology

2) The order of meshing is significant

3) Three controls available when creating Hex elements

Hex Dominant / Sweep / MultiZone

Finally, we will perform structural analysis by applying simple boundary and load conditions, and introduce the concept of exporting the analysis results (Deformed geometry) or using them as input for new analyses.

Please download the CAD file used in the exercise from the blog below.

Welcome to the 'Analyze as You Please' channel.

I would like to share my knowledge and know-how regarding FEA, which is used for structural analysis among CAE engineering technologies widely used in R&D in manufacturing sectors such as automobiles, aviation, and electronics.

#CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) #FEA (Finite Element Analysis)

I conduct this lecture using ANSYS Workbench, a representative FEA software, so that even beginners can easily watch and follow along.
