In this video, I’ll go over the proper steps to physically cleaning your Macbook Air A1465, which can also apply to other Apple products like MacBook Pro and other MacBook Air models. Cleaning your unit helps reduce strain on the fans and increases the overall lifespan of the unit, along with giving the exterior a fresh look. I'll show you how to safely disassemble your MacBook, clean internal components like the exhaust fan with compressed air, and then tackle the exterior casing, keyboard, and screen.
We'll cover the right supplies you'll need, like Windex and a screwdriver kit (pentalobe and Phillips bits), but if you prefer not to use Windex, you can always try a microfiber cloth without any liquid to buff out dirt, though that won't work for food stains. This video is your complete guide to keeping your MacBook Air or Pro clean and functioning perfectly.
