I bought a TOMY CHATBOT robot, but will it work?
In this video I unbox a vintage TOMY CHATBOT toy robot from the 1980s. The box was really tatty, but the robot was in excellent condition. Chatbot is a remote controlled toy that moves around and records your voice. It's made of white plastic and has got a retro boxy shape. It also comes with a useful tray for serving you snacks or drinks. ;)
Tomy made a series of white toy robots in the 1980s including Dingbot, Flipbot, Spotbot, Hootbot, Verbot, Omnibot and the ultimate robotic servant, the Omnibot 2000.
