マガン・ヒシクイ・オオハクチョウのねぐら立ち
北海道苫小牧市にあるウトナイ湖。
ここウトナイ湖は渡り鳥の聖地とも言える場所。
2024年3月28日の朝。
太陽が昇りきる前から湖上は賑やかだった。
一度に万を超える渡り鳥が飛び立つときもあれば、何度かに分けて飛び出すことも。
飛び出した先は雪解け進む畑。
長沼町や千歳市、安平町、厚真町などウトナイ湖周辺の畑に降り立ち、さらなる北上に備えて力を蓄える。

Lake Utonai can be considered a mecca for migratory birds.
The morning of March 28, 2024.
The lake was bustling even before the sun had fully risen.
Sometimes more than 10,000 migratory birds take off at once, and sometimes they fly out in several batches.
They fly out into fields where the snow is melting.
They land in the fields around Lake Utonai, in Naganuma Town, Chitose City, Abira Town, Atsuma Town, and other areas, to gather energy for their further northward journey.
