Allow us to introduce Lakota East alum and Cherokee intervention specialist Kirsten Kernodle. The former Hopewell Elementary student loves being able to see her Cheetah students grow with her from third graders to sixth graders.
"What drew me to Lakota was my former teachers. They were always dedicated. They were in it for the long haul. As a student, I saw how invested they were in me. They poured their heart and soul into each of their students. I wanted to pass along that same passion that they inspired in me."
