Google + Virtual Classroom
This FETC 2015 session will share with teachers the ways in which Google + and other Google Apps can be used to help teachers run a paperless classroom and virtual environment. By creating a virtual environment on Google +, teachers can share or present materials such as class notes, videos and or website links while students can utilize their individual homepage as a means of submitting their work. In terms of organization, this benefits teachers and students as the work submitted will be time-stamped and neatly preserved on the students wall. By using this approach teachers will find it easy to share classwork and discussions with students who are absent and allow them a means to participate in the class while away from the classroom. This is particularly useful during parent/teacher conferences as a way to demonstrate the work of each student in only a few clicks.
