Volcan Mountain is an extraordinary treasure. Rising over 5,000 feet and covering more than 52,000 acres, this majestic 15-mile ridge lies in the heart of San Diego County's backcountry. Throughout its million-plus year history, Volcan has remained virtually undisturbed. The Volcan Mountains retain much of its native vegetation and diverse animals.
The Volcan Mountain Foundation (VMF) and the Volcan Mountain community would like to keep it that way. This documentary tells their story.
