Truck body panels manufacturing
A two-component PUR glue applicator for the manufacture of refrigerated body panels. One Gluestream machine can serve several vacuum presses located along both sides of the machine, which is movable on rails.
Truck body panels are made of fiberglass sheets and EPS/XPS core. In order to reach a good adhesion between fiberglass and core materials it is required to use 2-components polyurethane glue. The fiberglass body panels are assembled directly on vacuum presses. Insulated van body panels can be produced with a length of 16 meters (55') and because of it's composite seamless structure the fiberglass body panel can withstand high mechanical loads and temperature fluctuations over a wide range.
