Solved: Engine pops at idle.
Today we’re going to figure out why this 2007 Ford Expedition, with a 5.4L 3 valve engine, has a popping noise at idle. The engine runs rough, but there are no codes stored in the computer. I’ll show you all of the steps that I took to find the problem and then what I did to repair it.
