THE ASSAULT ON THE UNION CAPITAL | THE REVENANT-UNIONIAN WAR | (1/3/25) Minecraft Stonebox
The Union came to power in a power gap left after most preestablished teams were dying. Constant war had fatigued the regular stonebox players, and most were leaving to take breaks. Stonebox was dying, and I was considering pulling the plug on it, on top of finals week and the holidays coming up. A new player named WitlessVenus98, who had previously joined The Malarian Union, the citizens had voted out Flashy and elected WitlessVenus98 as the new leader, and he changed the name to just The Union and he changed the flag. They built a new lavish capital where San Emeraldia used to be. Through the lack of powerful enemies, The Union quickly took over the server or what was left of it and asserted their claims over most of the map and it's people. They weren't oppressive however and sought to bring about a new golden age in stonebox. They built infrastructure, railways, and helped struggling towns with resources. They slowly rebuilt the world again into a world they now controlled. WitlessVenus98, a player who had just joined weeks ago, now was one of the most powerful people in the world. This new status quo would soon be threatened however by influxes of new people from group posts after we consistently started hosting again following a break for the holidays. Barneychacha recruited some of these new people and reformed Revenant. A team he used to lead on Stonebox 1. Barney declared war on The Union saying they have too much power and they need to be dealt with. Union troops quickly hunted down Barney's group in the tunnels and a battle ensued. Barney's forces regrouped, and alongside help from Carsonmc8, previously the leader of Church of Birch before its disolvement in The Great Corruption, launched a full scale frontal assault on The Union capital.
