Asplenium nidus, a common epiphytic fern, has a short, erect rhizome and a rosette of simple fronds. Propagation is by spores as the plant does not reproduce vegetatively. Plants can be divided into two, four, or even eight segments and potted individually to give these numbers of plantlets.

Asplenium nidus, or Bird's Nest Fern, is typically propagated through spores, though division can also be an option.

Propagation by Division
1. Gently separate the plant into smaller sections, ensuring each has a healthy root system.
2. Pot the separated sections into pots with well-draining soil.
3. Ensure the plants receive bright, indirect light and consistent moisture.
