How to: Black Roots Silver Grey Hair | Stella

So this year I decided to try something completely different with my hair, as a resolution. I tried Black silver hair :)
I have seen many styles with this trend on Facebook and Pinterest and I fell in love so I decided to give it a go, despite the fact that I was a bit hesitant of using black :\
Regardless, here's what I put on my hair:
I started by applying the silver on the lower half of my hair
-Affinage Infiniti Silver 9.117
-REF Peroxide 20V
I used up around 3/4 of the 100ml tub of dye for my hair and and mixed that with a ratio of 1:1.5 with the peroxide. Use as much dye as you feel necessary for your hair.
Then for the roots:
-Koleston 302/0 Black with the bottled developer it came with
Since I wanted a dark grey rather than a black, I mixed in some more of the silver dye and also some white conditioner in order to dilute the color a bit.
Once I applied both, I stayed with it for 45 mins, and then I washed it off and applied a deep conditioner to nourish it.
Then I dried it, straightened it and applied argon oil and that's it :)
