How to use the PoE to power the IP Spy Camera
Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows single Ethernet cable send both network and power to the camera. It eliminates the power adaptor and the DC cable, simplify the camera installation. The PoE splitter is properly required if the camera doesn’t have built-in PoE function. The advantage of the PoE splitter is the heat is kept outside of the camera. Normally the PoE will generate serious heat when it convert DC48V to DC12V.
