What is a Bitcoin Will?
A Bitcoin Will is a special Bitcoin wallet which creates a backup transaction for your children to use to redeem your coins every time you spend coins out of your wallet. However, if they attempt to claim your coins while you are alive, they must wait a period of time, during which you can cancel their claim with another pre-written transaction.
The Bitcoin Will allows you to pass on your coins to your backup wallets or your loved ones in the event that you die or lose access to your private keys. It does all of this without ever giving anyone access to your coins or private keys.
