A Strategy for Making Informed College Decisions (LEADS)
We will continue exploring the importance and opportunities that are needed for students to acquire essential self and college knowledge as they go through the college process. Using our 5-step LEADS Strategy, counselors and program directors will be able to help students build a set of skills and abilities for informed, lifelong college and career decisions. Unlike many other programs, the College UnMazed LEADS strategy moves beyond just building a list, exploring colleges, and submitting applications; it also provides you a framework to teach higher-order thinking strategies to make a college decision and develop a plan to be successful once in college.
Our newest team member, Dr. Amanda Sterk, has helped thousands of students plan their academic futures, explore career options, and apply and succeed for college admissions and scholarships.
