Tensions flared in Raidurg Paige village , Serilingampally Mandal, as Revenue and GHMC officials initiated the demolition of constructions on government lands. The demolition, targeting structures in survey numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5, led to local resistance and required a heavy police presence to maintain order.

Unity Mall at Raidurg, Hyderabad By TSTPC a government of Telangana undertaking is being constructed at the Cost of Rs. 213 Crs. in an area of Ac. 5.16 gts
Main objectives is to Promote the concept of “MAKE IN INDIA”;

Help the rural artisans in selling their products.

Meanwhile Hyderabad Tanneries, represented by its authorized signatory Mohammed Mumtaz Ali Khan, filed a writ petition against the government’s plans. The petition challenges the proposed construction of a Unity Mall on what Hyderabad Tanneries claims is its patta land. The petitioner argues that the state’s actions are unlawful, as there has been no proper identification and demarcation of the patta lands and Inam lands vested with the government under the Inams Abolition Act of 1955.

Hyderabad Tanneries has also filed interlocutory applications seeking a court order to prevent government interference with their possession of the disputed lands until the completion of a thorough survey by the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records. They have requested that any activities related to the construction of the Unity Mall be halted until the land is properly demarcated and all parties are given an opportunity to present their case.

The writ petition names several key respondents, including the State of Telangana, the Telangana State Leather Industries Promotion Corporation, and various revenue officials.

Khan claimed the portion is pending in the court.
However government authorities said that the petitioner encroached on the land and hence demolition after following due process.
