Taking a look at if the Soviet GP-5 Gas mask is safe to wear. I constantly get asked this question on many gas mask related videos so I thought I'd do a single video only on the GP-5 gas mask.
This video covers if there is asbestos in the Russian GP-5 gas mask filters or other harmful materials.
It also contains useful information about what makes old gas mask filters hazardous to wear and some information on the use of asbestos in old gas mask filters as a filter medium.
